Back in 2009, Zakariyya Oudrhiri (Komp Sci) and I (producing then as Logea) created Future In Sound to form a network where we could share underground, inaccesible and non-commercial sounds, artists and labels. “Listen & Discover” was created and went on to publish several hundreds of underground artists and labels until 2015 across our website, until it transitioned to our official Instagram. Our network approached primarly House, Techno and Minimal, as well as Progressive, Trance, Breaks, Ambient, Electronica and Lo-Fi.
I officialised Future In Sound as an independent record label and we began to expand our concept through events, the first series called Under The City, connecting creativity, communities and cultures together through the Art of Sound, whilst supporting new releases on Future In Sound.

Be it House, Techno, Disco or many other electronic music genres, BLACK music and BLACK artists have been the underrepresented heart, influence, soul and core whose creativity and communities created such unique, yet-to-be-heard music that defines the vast majority of what qualifies as music today.
As a BLACK-owned and created record label, Future In Sound will always promote, and push BLACK artists & music because we are UNDERREPRESENTED, UNDERPAID AND UNDERACKNOWLEDGED.
