Music, dance and writing have dominated my culture and love of art for the first 20 years of my life. A passion for photography and contemporary art developped after moving to Berlin and connecting with sculptors, painters and curators. I began to dive into art galleries, working during shows both as an artist or a caterer. Being involved with hosting open airs showed me how contemporary artists could incorporate their work into musical spaces, both in open settings and nightclubs, to create and control the atmosphere, direction and vision of events.
During my time in Berlin, I met incredible artists that introduced me to new perspectives and cultures, such as the founder of Dream Acting, Cecilia Erismann, whose work extends to the fields of poetry, philosophy, interpretation, guidance and community. This extends to Irene Cassina, founder of Cassina Projects, whom introduced me to contemporary art and culture through Milan’s unique scene, and across her work through her gallery and artists Cassina Projects.

The gallery was showcasing “Awaiting Climax”: the space of intermediation and experimentation originating from the ever more sidereal distance between the human and non-human dimensions. At a historical moment when imagining a single ecosystem in harmony has become an increasingly utopian proposition, the individuality of the anthropic horizon—both singular and collective—struggles to open itself to the outside world through an equitable and mutually generative exchange.

During my returns to London, I met photographer Bernard Miller who rekindled my flame for photography by inviting me, and allowing me to assist in model photoshoots and video filming in his former London studio in New Cross. His work, displayed as Presque Vu Photo, greatly highlights black beauty, diversity, family and art, truly deserving of a visit when in Indianapolis and Orlando.
Please head to UNDER ALL ARTS for -my- photography, events and community of artists. Please head to DANCE to find my dance performances.
Below is a teaser of my favourite art exhibitions and personal works from Milan, Paris, London and Toulouse, followed by a set of 4 pictures taken by Bernard Miller on Fuji of my brother Olrick-Anselme and myself at his London studio.
